Abstract:
Slope stability is crucial in geological engineering. Unstable slopes can lead to destructivelandslides and significant losses. Traditional methods for assessing slope stability, such as lab testsand trenching, are costly. Geophysical techniques, specifically geoelectrics, offer a cost-effectivealternative for evaluating subsurface structures. This study illustrates the effectiveness of geoelectrical methods in slope stability analysis througha case study. These methods serve as a complementary approach to laboratory tests, offeringvaluable information for the assessment of slope stability. The resistivity section derived from theexample dataset demonstrates that the landslide-prone area is detected as a low-resistivityanomaly, attributed to a clay layer
