خلاصه مقاله:
One of the crises facing mankind is damage to the environment. The absence of proper managementand sufficient attention to the emission of greenhouse gases threatens human life on the planet. Consideringthe emission of CO۲ greenhouse gas caused by cement production, reducing the consumption of cement inconcrete as the most consumed building material is a priority. In this study, a natural pozzolan from Iranwith suitable physical and chemical properties to replace part of cement in concrete was introduced and itsengineering properties were investigated. To strengthen its resistance, steel fibers, and polypropylene wereused separately and hybridized with new mineral pozzolan in concrete. According to previous research andoptimization, mineral pozzolan with a ۱۵% weight fraction of cement was used in concrete. Pozzolanicconcrete samples containing a combination of steel fibers and polypropylene have performed better in theimpact toughness of these samples than other specimens. Investigations showed that the impact resistanceof samples containing local mineral pozzolan was ۴% and ۸% higher than ordinary cement concrete in ۲۸and ۹۰ days, respectively. The results of the tests generally state that the studied local mineral pozzolan canbe a suitable option for replacing a part of cement in concrete. Improving the engineering characteristics ofconcrete, not only reduces cement consumption to a great extent, but also is a valuable finding forenvironmental protection and the Construction and production of green concrete.
