The subject of this paper is to address the role of Technopoles in national and regional development and policy making frameworks. Regional policy such as employment policies, natural resources and environmental protection strategies, utilization levels of health indexes, and etc. From the perspective of National Innovation System (NIS), infrastructure development of Technopoles would be the macro factors activation starter of this system. In this paper, we are seeking to provide a comparative approach for studying successful world Technopoles such as Heidelberg in Germany and Hsinchu in Taiwan and daejon in korea as the main national and regional policy makers. We will explain the role of Technopoles functions in NIS from the national view and also its affect on Regional Development Indexes, through the interviews with experts and questionnaire distribution.
