خلاصه مقاله:
Environmental impact assessment (EIA) is a process covered by several international standards, dictating that as many environmental aspects as possible should be identified in a project appraisal. Kurdistan Iron and Steel Factory (KISF) expanded its existing plant to cater the higher demand in the downstream industries. Together with the new plant, the total capacity will exceed 650000 tons/year, which requires EIA. In Order to EIA, All of Quality And Quantity Information about Different Environments (Physical-Chemical, Biological and Social-Economical) Was Collected. Then Process of Factory Was Described And According to That, All of Impacts Assessed And Analyzed. The mitigation measures to minimize the Pollution Was Prepared. Regular monitoring Parameters quality (Air, Water, Soil…) was conducted. Public participation was part of EIA process. All process and results were recorded in a final report that forms part of the project documentation and was available in a form that can be understood by non-technical people from KISF for any interested party. In this Study for Impact Assessing we employ Matrix Method.
