Recreational management throughout coastal lines using AHP and SWOT Case study: Noshahr and Chalous zones

Increasing population inside coastal lines for recreational purposes, as well as change of residence pattern totally resulted in wide environmental and social difficulties. During past years, this subject was of high concern. For this purpose, the present study selected the shore line between Noshahr and Chalous zones due to special geographic and ecologic position. Then, in order to more optimal management of recreational purposes, Analytical Hieratical Process was applied along with Expert Choice software, as one of the strongest multi-criteria decision making tools. Results were totally analyzed using SWOT and demonstrated that strengths and opportunities are more than weaknesses and threats. Finally, 24 strategies and approaches were applied to optimal management in zone numerated by SPACE. Latter results were integrated with the results of status evaluation matrix. Current situation is distinguished as the most optimal one
