خلاصه مقاله:
Transdermal drug delivery systems are a constant source of interest due to their advantages; they offerto overcome many of the disadvantages associated with other drug delivery methods (e.g., oral, intravenous,etc.). Due to the impermeable nature of the skin, it is challenging to design a suitable drug delivery vehiclethat penetrates the skin barrier [۱]. Hydrogel is a general term for water-swellable and porous materials ofpolymeric, protein, peptide, colloidal, surfactant origin, or lipid. Hydrogels are the main base in the food andpharmaceutical industries [۲]. Hydrogels are promising materials for various applications, including drugdelivery, tissue engineering, and wastewater treatment. The science of rheology is a suitable way to know themechanical properties, the effects of nanoparticles on the rheological properties, the effects of temperature, concentration, and the presence of other components, and finally, it helps to know the drug release pattern[۳]. In this research, we have reported different rheological tests such as time, stress, strain, frequency, etc.,and we discuss different aspects of the rheological properties of hydrogels and drug release
