Abstract:

The sulfur content in petroleum and gas condensation is of concern all over the word, because sulfur compounds are responsible for problems in storage, processing, transportation, and even the most important, the quality of the fuelproducts. Typically problems caused by sulfur compounds are catalyst poisoning and deactivation in processing, corrosion of equipment and the oxidation of sulfur compounds to x SO when fuel combustion, which causes serious environmental pollution. In recent years, allowable sulfur levels in petroleum and gas condensation for fuel production have beendrastically lowered by government regulations to combat air pollution. In this research, we are studying stabilization and sweetening of gas condensate. There are several methods to sweeten condensate from hydrogen sulfide in oil and gas industry. These methods depending on the type of hydrocarbon compounds and needed dividing rate are different. By simulating selected Alternatives and comparing them based on the quality of product and simplified the way for sweeten condensate, we select the mixing of hot and cold method by using sweet natural gas for this project.
