خلاصه مقاله:
This study critically examines the aspects of managing water resources in the Nile and Jordan Basins from ۱۹۲۰ to ۲۰۲۰. It focuses on how water scarcity and its management impact regional politics, security, and cooperation. By using perspectives and case studies, this research sheds light on the development of conflicts and diplomatic efforts related to shared water resources. To understand the complexity of water security, it applies the security framework proposed by the Copenhagen School, which considers environmental and societal factors. The study highlights the challenges involved in managing shared water resources in sensitive regions. It emphasizes the need for water governance and integrated policy approaches that involve various disciplines to resolve disputes related to water. The insights gained from this research are essential for shaping policies and promoting cooperative strategies in both the Nile and Jordan Basins. This work significantly contributes to understanding how water plays a role in regional security dynamics while providing a basis for developing more effective frameworks for conflict resolution and water management in transboundary contexts .
