Abstract:
2-substituted benzothiazoles have been synthesized by using the direct reaction of 2-aminothiophenol and carboxylic acids under microwave irradiation. The reaction undermicrowave irradiation gave the products in short reaction time (5-30 min) and reasonable yields(60-77%).
