In recent years ionic liquids had been used in the area of ZnO nanoparticle synthesis. Many researchers have introduced some novel technical methods to construct nanomaterials assisted with ionic liquids in order to obtain different results,1-5. As a part of our continual efforts toward the development of novel, efficient, and green procedures to synthesize of nano ZnO, we have synthesised nano sheet and nano hallow block morphologies of ZnO nanostructures by a simple reflux method in water. The structural of these ZnO particles were studied by using XRD and SEM. The results show that the dicationic of imidazole with a definite concentration cause the more width of nanosheet.
