Abstract:
In this study we use graphene as a metal catalyst support. Platinum metal are known best electrocatalyst, but it is expensive. We effort selected base-catalyst were had high active surface to this noble metal used less. Titanium tetrachloride (TiCl(4)) and hexachloro platinic acid (H(2)PtC(l6)) were main source of titanium and platinum nanoparticles, respectively. Nanoparticles were deposited on graphene with ultrasonic method for uniform disperse. Electrocatalytically performance of graphene/Ti/Pt nanocomposite was carried out using a potentiostat connected to three electrode cell assembly with glassy carbon (GC) as the working that graphene/Ti/Pt deposited on GC electrode, Hg/Hg(2)Cl(2) as the reference and Pt wire as the counter electrodes. Cyclic voltammetry scans were recorded from -0/2 to 2V at a scan rate of 50 mV/s. The morphology characterized by XRD, TEM techniques. The results display that nanoparticles deposited on graphene were improved catalytic activity and shows better performance in fuel cell.
