خلاصه مقاله:
The Coupled Homotopy-Variational Method is applied to nonlinear vibrations of Euler–Bernoulli beamssubjected to axial loads. Galerkin decomposition technique is carried out to convert the dimensionlessequation of motion to the nonlinear ordinary differential equation. In order to demonstrate the accuracy andeffectiveness of the method, a comparison between the obtained results and exact ones is presented for the case of clamped-clamped and Hinged-Hinged beams. The result indicates this fact that the Coupled Homotopy-Variational Method is a powerful tool for analyzing nonlinear dynamic and vibrational behaviours ofstructures analytically.
