Fuzzy Process Capability Index for Fuzzy Discrete Processes

The traditional capability indices could not be applied when some information of a process are not precise and they are expressed in fuzzy terms.Also they can not be applied for discrete processes.For such cases a process capability index C~p as a real number was introduced by Yongting. In thispaper we introduce another process capability index as a fuzzy number for fuzzy discrete processes, when the specification limits are expressed as triangular fuzzy numbers. One of its advantages is that it can be used not only for continuous processes, as is the case with the majority of the indices considered in the literature, but also for discrete processes as well
