خلاصه مقاله:
Malaria is a common parasitic disease that is transmitted to humans by the bite of aninfected mosquito. The protozoan Plasmodium parasite in human blood is the main cause ofmalaria, which manifests itself with symptoms such as severe nausea, high fever, and chills.Every year, ۲۱۰ million people around the world are infected with this disease and ۴۴۰thousand of them die. Stay with us in the rest of this article to learn more about malaria andthe symptoms and causes of this disease. The parasitic disease of malaria is caused by thesingle-celled parasite Plasmodium in the blood. In fact, the bite of the Anopheles mosquitotransmits this disease to humans, and Plasmodium enters the red blood cells and grows there. After multiplying, it tears the red blood cells and the symptoms of this disease appear. Thisdisease has different types, the three most common types in Iran are vivax, falciparum andmalaria. The most severe and dangerous type is falciparum. The use of biological andscientific methods, including genetic manipulation of Anopheles mosquitoes and the use ofnatural predators of Anopheles mosquitoes, such as spiders, can be suitable solutions toreduce the spread of this disease in the world. Spiders are a group of arthropods that have ahigh number and variety of species and live in most parts of the world. A group of jumpingspiders from the Salticidae family specialize in feeding on mosquitoes that feed on the bloodof vertebrates. Although biological control of Anopheles mosquitoes by these spiders is auseful way to reduce mosquito populations and control malaria, it is not a definitivereplacement for conventional control methods. Malaria is a serious and sometimes fataldisease caused by a parasite that usually infects a specific type of mosquito that feeds onhumans.
