Abstract:
This study delves into the critical role of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in enhancing the operational excellence of airlines, focusing on quality assurance and compliance monitoring. Amidst the complexities of global operations and stringent regulatory landscapes, the adoption of a structured, KPI-driven approach emerges as a cornerstone for achieving and maintaining high operational standards. Through a mixed-methods research design, this paper identifies, analyzes, and evaluates the impact of specific KPIs across various facets of airline operations, including safety, customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Primary data was collected via semi-structured interviews and surveys among airline executives, quality assurance managers, and compliance officers, supplemented by an extensive review of secondary sources such as industry reports, regulatory standards, and performance data. The findings underscore the indispensability of KPIs in navigating the operational challenges and regulatory requirements of the airline industry. A strategic emphasis on KPI-driven management not only enhances operational integrity and safety but also fosters customer loyalty and competitive advantage. The study concludes with actionable recommendations for airlines to optimize their quality assurance and compliance monitoring practices through effective KPI utilization, ensuring long-term sustainability and success in the global aviation marketplace.
