Energy sources are among the most important elements of human life. Humans have continuously sought ways to harness energy for sustaining life. Technological advancements have facilitated the exploitation of novel sources and somewhat decelerated the depletion rate of finite and non-renewable energy reserves. The most abundant source of energy on Earth is solar energy, which has been partially harnessed by humans through modern technologies and utilized for various domestic and industrial applications. In this research, employing a descriptive-analytical approach, we investigate the advantages of non-power plant applications of clean solar energy.Solar energy is regarded as the world's largest energy source. This clean, free, and inexhaustible energy is accessible in most regions of the Earth. The limitations of fossil fuels and the consequences of environmental and global climate change have created conditions favorable for solar energy to compete with fossil fuels, particularly in countries with high radiation potential. Solar energy systems are employed as novel technologies for providing heat, hot water, electricity, and even cooling for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
