Considering the climatic conditions and water shortage problems in this region, water governance is very important. In this article, the importance of water governance in California was investigated and the importance of implementing appropriate policies and programs for managing water resources in this region was investigated. Also, the effects of population increase, climate change and human activities on the water resources of this region were also investigated. The importance of water governance in California is critical from an economic, social, and environmental point of view, and conducting more research in this area can help improve water resource management in this region.
