Chlamydia trachomatis is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections worldwide, and its long-term consequences can be infertility in both men and women. This relationship is also related to infection .۲. Search Strategy:Persian and English articles published between ۲۰۱۰-۲۰۲۴ were searched in the Google Scholar Web of Science, Pubmed database using the keywords chlamydia trachomatis, infertility, pregnancy outcome and their English equivalents using AND operators .۳. Results:About ۱۳۱ million people worldwide are infected with this disease, which can be one of the most common sexually transmitted infections (STIs) globally. Chlamydia is asymptomatic, but left untreated can lead to serious complications, including pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and infertility. It may lead to a response that harms the fetus already and increases the risk of miscarriage. Assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) can also be affected by chlamydia .۴. Conclusion and Discussion:The impact of Chlamydia trachomatis on fertility and pregnancy outcomes highlights the need for water strategies and treatment .
