Due to the valuable nature of the secondary metabolites of aquatic medicinal plants, knowing the genesinvolved in the expression of metabolites is one of the most important issues of these plants, and by clarifyingthis path, initiatives can be taken to express less or more of these genes, be special. In order to discover andbetter understand the molecular mechanism in the lotus plant, the NPF۱ gene and its expression werespecifically investigated. The expression of this gene has the ability to reduce Alzheimer's disease by activatingneurons. The sequence of this gene has higher homology with the members of the TATA box family(transcription factors in the expression of cultures). In this research, NPF۱ gene was studied usingbioinformatics sources and specific primers were designed for the amplification of this gene. In this study, thecharacteristics of NPF۱ gene in lotus plant were presented. NPF۱ is upregulated in mature endoles. Studies ofthe promoter of this gene show that the transcription activation is limited to the cortical region of the roots orplant tubers. Under conditions, expression of the NPF ۱ knockout mutant increases stem growth andanthocyanin accumulation. NPF ۱ gene was used in PCR reaction. The expression level of NPF ۱ gene is thehighest in the reproductive glands of this plant and the lowest in the flowers of this plant. By analyzing themolecular structure of the transcript and based on homology modeling, its spatial shape was shown, the abovestructure is shown.
