خلاصه مقاله:
This case report discusses a ۳۴-year-old male patient with no previous medical history who was found to have an adrenal mass during routine sonography. Despite being asymptomatic, further investigations were carried out due to the mass’s size. Laboratory findings were within normal ranges, and an Electrocardiogram (EKG) showed no abnormalities. Detailed imaging studies, including a CT scan and MRI, confirmed the presence of a large, well-defined homogenous mass in the left adrenal gland. The patient underwent open surgery, and the mass was removed without complications. A histopathological examination of the mass confirmed it as an adrenal ganglioneuroma. This case highlights the importance of thorough investigation and management of incidentally discovered adrenal masses, even in asymptomatic patients. It also underscores the significance of diagnostic imaging studies in the diagnosis and surgical planning of adrenal tumors. The patient’s progression after surgery was uneventful, demonstrating the effectiveness of surgical intervention in such cases. This case report discusses a ۳۴-year-old male patient with no previous medical history who was found to have an adrenal mass during routine sonography.
