Abstract:
Small magnetic sensors are widely used integrated in vehicles, mobile phones, medical devices, etc for navigation, speed, position and angular sensing. Despite the practicaladvantages that anisotropic magneto resistive (AMR) sensors provide, they are highly temperature dependent. Another factorwhich extremely affects the measured magnetic field, is the inherent resistive structure of the family. In this work a low-cost, effective micro controller digitalsolution is proposed to refine the accuracy and reliability of the (AMR) sensor. This approach will not only remove thedissimilarity of the Wheatstone bridge thin-film stripes and temperature drifts, but also corrects inaccuracies caused by the effect of nonlinearity and hysteresis.
