Abstract:
This paper considers the design of robust observerbased controller for a class of continuous-time nonlinear systems in the presence of disturbances. The system is presentedby Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) model with nonlinear consequents. The proposed T-S structure reduces the number of rules in theSugeno model by using local nonlinear rules. To the knowledge of authors this is the first time that robust output feedbackcontroller design of continuous time systems with nonlinearconsequent T-S model is considered. The proposed controller guarantees H∞ performance of the system by using linear matrixinequality (LMI) formulation. Numerical examples illustrate effectiveness of the proposed method as compared to the existing methods in literature
