Abstract:

This article review aims to critically evaluate the impact of psychological education and counseling on medication adherence and illness perception in individuals with severe psychiatric disorders. The review examines relevant studies published in the field, focusing on the effectiveness of psychological interventions in improving medication adherence and modifying illness perception. Overall, the findings suggest that psychological education and counseling play a crucial role in enhancing treatment outcomes and promoting a positive perception of illness among individuals with severe psychiatric disorders. The findings of the study provided valuable insights into the impact of psychological education and counseling on medication adherence and illness perception in individuals with severe psychiatric disorders. important points and implications of the study's results: Improved Medication Adherence, Enhanced Illness Perception, Importance of Tailored Interventions, Role of Therapeutic Alliance, Implications for Clinical Practice.
