Abstract:

Background and Aim: Morality means temperament, which means normalizedbehavior that discusses good, bad, good and bad behavior. Professional ethics alsoincludes the moral responsibilities and profession of the individual in terms of job. Thisstudy was conducted to determine the dimensions of professional teaching ethics ofprofessors from the perspective of students of Abadan University of Medical Sciencesin ۲۰۱۹.Materials and methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, ۳۰۲ students ofAbadan University of Medical Sciences were selected by stratified random samplingmethod. " Composed. Data were collected and analyzed using SPSS- ۲۵ statisticalsoftware using descriptive statistics.Ethical considerations: Participation in the study was optional and informed writtenconsent was obtained from nurses to participate in the study. In addition, theinformation confidentiality of the participants was observed.Findings: Students less dimensions [personality traits (۲.۹۹±۰.۴۱), content mastery((۲.۸۷± ۰.۵۱), recognition of different aspects of learning (۲.۷۵±۰.۵۳), standardevaluation (۲.۶۴ ± ۰.۶۰) and observance of educational rules (۲.۲۹±۰.۴۶)] Theyevaluated it as moderate and evaluated only the dimension of mastery of teachingmethod (۳.۰۳±۰.۵۴) as above average. Also, the inferential findings of this sectionindicated that except for the dimensions of personality traits (P = ۰.۸۸۳) and masteryof method Teaching (P = ۰.۳۳۶) Among other dimensions, the difference between themean and the mean was significant (P = ۰.۰۰۰۵).Conclusion: According to the findings, these disparities may be due to differences ineducational facilities (time and space and educational equipment) and the uniquenature of some disciplines. Also, the atmosphere in educational spaces variesaccording to the rules and management of the place, and more appreciation of specificvalues in each place may make a difference.
