Study of remote self-care of patients with type ۲ diabetes

Diabetes, as one of the common diseases of metabolic disorders, is considered one of the public health problems in the world. The most important factor behind the death of diabetic patients is lack of self-care. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating remote self-care of patients with type ۲ diabetes. The above article is published in ۲۰۱۸ to ۲۰۲۲. The search process was carried out to find and identify relevant studies in scientific databases such as ProQuest, Scopus, Google Scholar, Pubmed, Science Direct. The findings showed that most of the studies focused on the efficiency and effectiveness of telemedicine in type ۲ diabetes diseases have been conducted in the first world countries with modern technologies. In general, it can be concluded that the use of telemedicine to evaluate, diagnose and monitor patients who are far from medical centers, especially in areas with a shortage of health professionals, can be useful and efficient. It is also possible to prevent unnecessary examinations and tests by sharing information.
