Abstract:
The stem cells science as the basis of regenerative medicine and tissue engineering is of particular importance, and the study of the behavior of stem cells, including cell viability, cell death, cell junctions, their differentiation and proliferation in vitro and under different treatments, could lead to access useful information about the different characteristics of these cells and expansion of their applications in the therapeutic field. Also, in recent years, the knowledge of cold plasma medicine and cold plasma treatment of cells has shown a good potential in controlling the behavior of cells. In this research, the effect of indirect cold atmospheric plasma on proliferation of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells is investigated.
