In this paper, we propose a new approach for solving the second order fuzzydifferential equation. First, we use a-cut sets to reduce the second order fuzzydifferential equation to an interval valued differential equation. Then, we create anoptimization problem that its optimal solution is the approximate solution of the originalsecond order fuzzy differential equation. Finally, the proposed approach is illustrated bysome applied examples in physics.
