Improving Contaminated hydraulic Fluids performance by Using Resin Anionic Sieves

Hydraulic fluid properties and quality have direct effect on control system performance. Since presence of contaminants in hydraulic fluid makes unpleasant effects and changes the fluid properties, it disrupts its performance and causes problems on control system. This paper investigates the effect of resin system in removing the contaminants from hydraulic fluid and reveals moisture and resin bead size influences on the contaminants removal. Moreover, anionic resins have succeeded to remove acidic contaminants and cationic resins in soap salt degradation.
