Abstract:
Environmental pollution is a phenomenon that has affected human life for many years. In fact, this phenomenon can be considered as the biggest threat to human health and well-being and one of the main reasons for the death of organisms and diseases. The percentage of environmental pollution has increased during the past decades due to human activities, and some carelessness and carelessness have caused the environment to be polluted and damaged, and environmental pollution has destructive effects on the life of organisms. In recent years, pollution related to emerging pollutants such as microplastics, pharmaceutical organic pollutants, personal care products, endocrine disrupting substances, surfactants, pesticides, industrial additives, etc., the adverse effects of these pollutants, concerns It has resulted in health and environmental issues. In this research, the results of various researches that studied the sources of these pollutants entering the environment, the health and environmental effects and the challenges that the human world is facing have been reviewed. The results show that despite the proposed methods to remove and control these pollutants, some methods are still not effective in cleaning these pollutants and more research is needed to manage and remove these types of pollutants
