Abstract:

Iran's food supply chain is crucial to its economy. This sector involves multiple entities, from suppliers of raw materials and packaging to retailers that sell the products. The food supply chain is characterized by its complexity, encompassing production facilities, warehouses, distributors, wholesalers (including grocery stores, restaurants, and government purchasing centers), and geographically dispersed retailers. This study presents a transportation model for the food sector, aiming to optimize logistics operations. The model incorporates various parameters, decision variables, and constraints, reflecting the intricate dynamics of food supply chains. Fuzzy logic is employed to assess the effectiveness of the transportation model under uncertain conditions. The objective is to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance in food logistics. The results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach in tackling the challenges associated with food transportation management
