A low-Voltage current-mode two-quadrant RMSto-DC converter is proposed. The including two-quadrant squarer/divider and the first-order low-pass filter cell areobtained by MOS translinear loops. The circuit employs CMOS transistors operating in a weak inversion region. The RMS-to-DC converter has low power consumption (<1 μW), low supply voltage (0.9V), wide input range (from 1 nA to 400 nA), low relative error (<4 %), and low circuit complexity. Thesimulation results, performed by HSPICE, show the high performance of the proposed circuit and confirm the validityof design technique
