Chaotic Attitude Synchronization of Multiple Spacecraft using Distributed Predictive Control

In this paper, the problem of synchronizing the chaotic attitude dynamics of multiple spacecraft is investigated based on distributed predictive control approach. Kinematicand dynamic equations according to the modified Rodriguez parameters representation are used to describe the spacecraftsystem. The respective method follows the sequential and cooperative structure of distributed algorithms in order to create the control input and apply it to each spacecraft. Finally, simulation results are presented to verify and demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
