Abstract:

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms into project management for architectural and construction projects has emerged as a transformative approach to addressing inefficiencies, cost overruns, unattended risks and time delays in the construction industry. This article provides a comprehensive review of the efficiency and evaluation of AI facilities in improving key indexes for projects, such as machine learning (ML) and their applications and algorithms for gaining better project success. Through a systematic survey of case studies and academic literature, the article highlights the potential of AI-driven tools to improve project outcomes by reducing waste, minimizing delays, and ensuring optimal resource utilization. Key metrics for evaluating AI efficiency, such as cost savings, time reduction, risk assessment and accuracy of predictions, are discussed. Additionally, the article addresses challenges related to data quality, integration with existing systems like Building Information Modeling (BIM), and scalability in real-world construction environments. By synthesizing current research and practical applications, this review underscores the transformative potential of AI in resource planning while identifying areas for future research and development. The findings aim to guide architects, project managers, and construction professionals in adopting AI technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability in architectural project construction.
