خلاصه مقاله:
This paper presents an exergy analysis of a PEM fuelcell using a single phase two-dimensionalelectrochemical model. Exergy analysis performed invariable gas diffusion layer (GDL) thickness andvariable membrane thickness. The operatingconditions are to be selected 80 °c for celltemperature and 3-5 atm for anode and cathodepressure. Moreover thickness of the membrane hasthree values, 0.01 cm, 0.015 cm and 0.02 cm. Thecalculations of the exergetic parameters areperformed at variable fuel cell current densities.Thus, it can be said that, in order to increase theexergetic performance of PEM fuel cell, themembrane thickness and the GDL should be selectedor fabricated thinner.
