خلاصه مقاله:
The adsorption equilibrium of methane on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) with static volumetric method at temperatures of 303.15, 308.15 and 318.15 K and different pressure (0-6 bar) was studied. Adsorption isotherms on MWCNT were compared with zeolite at 308.15 K. Zeolites showed higher adsorption capacity of CH4 than MWCNTs at different pressures (0-3 bar). Adsorption capacity of the MWCNT and zeolite for methane at a pressure of about 3 bar and temperature of 308.15 K were 0.891 and 1.495 mmol per gram of adsorbent, respectively. Freundlich and Sips equations employed for correlating experimental data of zeolite and MWCNTs.
