خلاصه مقاله:
Applying optimal percentage of pozzolanic materials has significant impacts on enhancing the physical and mechanical properties of Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC).In this paper, the effects of differentpozzolanic materials accompanied with Nano (SiO2) in SCC have been investigated simultaneously.Initially the optimum percentage of Nano (SiO2) in cement mortars and cement mortar containing fly ash has been determined. These optimum percentages are 5% and 4% by cement weight respectively. Thenusing these percentages and also optimum percentage of Nano (SiO2) in cement mortars containing silicafume and rice husk ash (which is 3%), concrete mixtures have been made. In all cases the results of compressive strength, flexural strength, water absorption, shrinkage and ultrasonic pulse velocity were compared with control concrete without any pozzolanic materials. Theresults indicate that; presence of Nano (SiO2) with appropriate Supplementary Cimentitious Materials (SCMs) increase compressive strength of concrete up to 30%.Also the maximum increase in flexural strength is obtained about 20%. Fresh concrete tests including slump flow, V-funnel and L-box are carried out on all mixtures. Presence of Nano (SiO2) decreases the air content of fresh concrete about 16%.
