Abstract:
We determined bioaccumulation of heavy metals (Ni,Cd,Zn,Cu) in various tissues(fillet,gill and liver) of Euryglossa orientalis from 4station in Bahrekan Bay at april of 2013. Bahrekan Bay is one of the most important intertidal zones in the northwest of Persian Gulf .The tissues were digested and the element were determined using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The maximun concentrations of Zn (136.3 ±0/001 mg kg (- 1) d.w.) determined in liver. The average of Zn in fillet, gills and liver was 8.8; 46.35; 93.55 mg kg (- 1) d.w. respectively. Also Ni and Cd were not detected in total of samples. Cu was not detected in the total fillet samples. The order of Zn and Cu in tissues was liver > gill >fillet. The significant differences were detected between the various tissues (p<0.05) but no significant differences were recorded between the concentration of Zn and Cu in fish samples between stations (P>0.05).
