Abstract:
In recent decades, rapid changes in demographics, medical technologies, and health crises such as pandemics have made it essential to design forward-looking and flexible healthcare centers. These centers must be able to quickly adapt to changing patient needs, technological advancements, and critical conditions. In this context, Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a key role as an advanced tool in data analysis, trend prediction, and space optimization, enhancing the adaptability of architecture. This research examines the application of AI in designing adaptive healthcare centers and proposes a conceptual model for utilizing this technology in healthcare architecture. First, the concept of adaptability in healthcare architecture is explained, followed by a description of AI's role in this context using machine learning techniques and data analysis. The research methodology is qualitative and analytical, with successful international examples being examined. Next, a proposed model for adaptive design is introduced, which, through AI algorithms, enables predictive analysis of spatial needs and optimization of healthcare space performance. This study demonstrates that adaptive design can help create intelligent, resilient healthcare environments that are prepared for future changes and diverse conditions.
