In this work, photodecolorization of malachite green (MG) was studied using V2O5-MCF, as heterogeneous catalyst. The V2O5-MCF was synthesized by alcoholic impregnation and characterized by FT-IR, BET-BJH, XRD and SEM. The effects of some operational key factors were studied on the degradationefficiency of the catalyst and the following optimum values were obtained: [MG] = 15 mg L-1, pH = 4.7, irradiation time of 30 min for 0.25 g L-1 V2O5-MCF
