We prouduct on the preparation of activated carbons from walnut shell by the physical activation method. In addition, we also investigate their adsorption performance. Activated carbon has been processed from different type of agricultural material such as olive stone, acorn, walnut shell and stone fruits [1]. The activated carbon obtioned were evaluated by high iodine adsorption. The characterization of surface carbons was performed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and FT-IR.
