Abstract:
In this work, a collisionless magnetized two-fluid plasma system is considered, which is composed of cold ions and regularized K-distributed electrons. In this research, the nonlinear differential equation KdV governing cnoidal ion acoustic waves is obtained using the reductive perturbation method. The results show that for all values of the superthermal index к and the cutoff parameter α, periodic ion acoustic waves are formed, and for some of these values in the regularized K-distributed function, the nonlinear coefficient is negative and for others it is positive. These obtained cnoidal compressive and rarefactive waves behave differently by changing the parameters (a and к). It was also seen that the intensity of the external magnetic field and the angle of this field with the propagation direction on the amplitude and wavelength of these compressive and rarefactive waves will have a different effect.
