In this work, nanofibrillar cellulose (NFC), a renewable and biodegradable nanofiber, was synthesized and characterized. This widely available plant-based material was tested as a novel pharmaceutical excipient, recovery of petroleum, solar cell, electronic, packaging, food craft etc. We used cellulose acetate (CA) for NFC fabricating with electrospinning method.
