خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, an experimental technique was developed to study the interfacial interactions between synthetic oil and CO2 under reservoir conditions by using the (IFT 400) for the pendant drop case, thisnew technique makes it possible to measure the interfacial tensions (IFTs) between fluid and CO2, at highpressures and elevated temperature. The major part of this experimental setup is a see-through windowed high-pressure cell. To the best of our knowledge there is no study on the effects of composition on injected CO2 by using VIT technique. In this study, we investigate the effect of composition on theequilibrium interfacial tension between the CO2 and four different oil fluids at different pressures. Alsominimum miscible pressure (MMP) is measured by Vanishing Interfacial Tension (VIT) technique to determine the composition effect on the CO2 miscible gas injection. The equilibrium interfacial tension (IFT) between each synthetic oil and CO2 is measured as a function of the equilibrium pressure. Bycomparison the results a reliable equation for measuring interfacial tension at different pressure and 322.15 K correlated. It is also found that the measured equilibrium IFT is reduced almost linearly with the equilibrium pressure and also the measured interfacial tension increases with toluene mass fraction increase.
