Abstract:
In this Study, modelling, simulating and controlling of HVAC (heating, ventilating and air-conditioning) system under non-ideal condition were performed. The model is obtained using primary mechanical laws and some usual assumptions. This model, which is used in controller design, has a low complexity in order to catch the main dynamics of system and not the non-significant occurrence. The main goal of this study is to present a fuzzy controller with a better performance than the classical PID controller. Among the article, the overall structure of the controlling system would be discussed, then a PID controller using genetic algorithm is obtained, finally we use the results to complete our designing process. The proposed fuzzy controller has a better performance that the optimized PID controller. All steps were performed using MATLAB and the final results were presented in a graphical or tabular form
