THERMAL PERFORMANCE OF TRAPEZOIDAL AND RECTANGULAR PROFILES FIN WITH TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENT HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT, THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY AND EMISSIVITY

In this study, highly accurate and simple analytical methods, Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) is applied for predicting the temperature distribution in a trapezoidal and rectangular profiles Fin with Temperature Dependent Heat transfer Coefficient, thermal conductivity and Emissivity. It has been attempted to show the capabilities and wide-range applications of the HAM in comparison with the numerical method namely Boundary Value Problem method (BVP) in solving this problems.
