Indicators of tourist attraction in sustainable tourism:case study of role of bu-ali and Baba-Taher tomb in increasing tourist numbers in Hamedan,iran

Sustainable development of tourism is a process that is related to hosts` quality of life, providing visitors` demand as well as the environmental protection of natural and human resources. Some factors, such as convenient accommodations and adequate security for tourists, the presence of standardized and wide roads, the health services in residential centers and along the road, attention to meeting the needs and demands of tourists, the appropriate rules for entry and exit of tourists, good advertising, culturally appropriate behaviors have a great impact on the development of tourism industryIn this research, we obtained the tourists` satisfaction with recreational-tourist complex of and Baba-Taher tomb in 2008-2012 in two high seasons of spring and summer by questionnaire and then compared that number to the total satisfaction of tourist attractions to define the status of Bu-ali and Baba-Taher tomb Hamadan in terms of tourism.The results of this research show that despite the descending trend of tourists` satisfaction with Bu-ali and Baba-Taher tomb from 2008 to 2011, this tomb has been of relative satisfaction for foreign and internal tourists, higher than the average amount of satisfaction with all tourist attraction. This is a quantitative and qualitative research based on, descriptive - analytic study, which has been conducted by reviewing library resources, surveying questionnaires and field studies.
