Climatic planning for tourism in city of Mashhad

Tourism is a multi-aspects charter and each one of its aspects affects a part of human social needs, this industry by its nature not only has many functions, but also can be in different shapes. Climate of a region can be counted as its natural attraction for tourism purposes. In this study we tried to evaluate or lack of it using Evans index and meteorological data for a period of 20years (1990-2010). The results obtained indicated that in day time months of May, April, October and November, and in night time months of June, July and August have comfort conditions. This study can be used in order to identify a region’s climate as an effective way of tourism planning
