Ontology learning, tries to find ontological relutions, in an automatic process. One kind of nontaxonomic relations which may be inclzded in an ontology is similarity relationship. The idea we investigate here is that in presence of taxonomic relations we can extract more useful non-taxonomic similarity relations. We explain the speczfications of an implemented system for extracting these relations by means of this new context extraction method.
