خلاصه مقاله:
This study examines the effect of wave direction on reflection of regular waves from breakwaters with double or single-layer perforated front wall and an impermeable back wall. Thefluid domain is divided into three sub-domains and an eigen-function expansion method is applied in each domain.. Furthermore, it is assumed that incident waves have various directions to examine the particular direction which has minimum wave reflection. The authors believe thatthe wave direction can influence the performance of breakwater and therefore is an important parameter for breakwater design.
