خلاصه مقاله:
This paper presents a 2DV numerical model for nonlinear waves based on VOF technique, by developing WISE model. Although WISE [1] uses an Arbitary Lagrangian-Euleriandescription, a structured mesh based on Eulerian description has been utilized for surface reconstruction. Although the set of equations used in WISE model is second order accurate in time and space, as advection plays a major role in flow characteristics, a fifth-order shapefunction is used for advection of velocity field. After determining water surface, a VOF method is used for surface reconstruction .To minimize the inaccuracies associated with the advection of VOF step function and considering the fact that the advection scheme used fortransport equation is numerically diffusive, Youngs’s Method is used for advection of thisfractional function to reconstruct surface more accurately
